Let’s go back to winter 2001……
Marjanne and Gerben visited South Africa and got bitten by the BRAAI bug. In spring 2002, Comfort Trade was founded and soon after the first container with Braais arrived in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
Here we are today in 2022; with 60+ resellers in 17 countries, we are the ‘Home of the real Braai’! And all this time we worked closely together with Homefires South Africa and we hope to continue to do so for many years to come. As they know how to build quality Braais since 1985. Together we innovated the product and made them market leader throughout the world
To celebrate this 20 year anniversary we are happy to invite you to our Braai party at ‘ Landgoed Alerdinck’ on June 26 in Heino, the Netherlands. It will be fun, Braai & music, come and celebrate the good times!

Close to Zwolle, surrounded by nature, is our beautiful manor Den Alerdinck. Built in 1680 and restored in the old style with great care and attention for several decades.
